Apex Black History: Stories Still With Us Today

This activity features an in-depth storytelling experience of the enslaved Africans and Free Persons of Color who lived in southwestern Wake County. Join Local Historian, Warren Holleman, local actors from Holleman’s play “Forged in Fire: The Story of Apex,” and students from Middle Creek High School as they retell these stories through art, poetry and music.
