Apex 150th Committee Organizers
In summer of 2021, a core team of Town of Apex staff came together to dream and plan how we as a town could celebrate Apex’s sesquicentennial. Staff were selected based on roles within the organization and relationships in the community.

When dreaming big for Apex’s 150th year of incorporation, Town staff quickly recognized the year would be incomplete without the participation and input of the community.
Community members were encouraged to complete an interest form to sign up for information, volunteer their time or talents, and serve on a subcommittee. Core committee members also connected with specific members of the community to bring unique perspectives and backgrounds.
The Apex 150th working team consists of the core team of staff, a historic subcommittee of over 20 community members, and a special events subcommittee of community members with experience in Apex event hosting.
